I experienced the Edge Venture weekend. Got home late Sunday.

30 guys, several with CSA wounds (including me). It was incredibly healing and I felt affirmed/loved. I was (gently) pushed to face my demons, and I did. I never connected with my anger like that before.

I highly recommend attending Edge Venture to Christian men with any struggles/addictions. I felt very loved and safe. www.edgeventure.org

Thanks for the information! I think I would feel safer there then at WoR for sure.

looks awesome and it is also affordable.

wish we had something like that up here with all this wilderness.

have not been able to find anything similar in south west BC.

let me know if anyone can direct me to a program like this in my area (within a few hundred miles of Vancouver BC LOWER MAINLAND)

glad you had this experience.

can you tell me more about it?

I haven't done an WoR, but I hear they are awesome, and safe.

My particular need was to get closer to God, learn to trust Him more. The Holy Spirit was alive for sure!

Edge is "experiential". It is a process, and it worked perfectly for me. I can't say enough about the staff and my fellow weekenders. Awesome group.

There were intense moments. Guys tapping into long suppressed anger and sadness. Parts made me bawl like a baby. And I also got to let loose some very old anger in a physical, but safe way.

Jim

This one seems like a better fit for me then WoR, but I know a lot of ppl like WoR, I just could not do that or afford it even.

I've done a WoR, it was good. I think this would be something I could be interested in, but I have no means to go at this point, and surely couldn't afford the cost to travel on top of it all.

Only way I made the WoR was because it was within driving distance for me.
