The Digital Detox is a tech-free retreat where individuals give up their smartphones and gadgets, unplug from technology, and get away from the stress of everyday life for a few days to recharge their mind, body and soul.
it may look funny, but i wish it wasn't so. i have been working hard to get him out of his room and into some sports. i have to drag him to swimming pools and long walks. the only physical activity he actually enjoys is archery, so we try to get out to the range about twice a week, but it usually ends up being only once, due to my stupid work schedule.
my cell phone was stolen some months ago, and i have not had the money to replace it. it has turned out to be the best vacation i have had in a long time.
i have a landline with call display. i don't even have an answering machine. only work, and a few friends and family have my number. peace.
call me. if i am home, i might pick up.
LOL. Similar story. Mine broke. It was supposed to be exchangeable, but then they tried to tell me there was going to be a fee to activate the new one. So in an impulsive moment I told them to just shut down the account instead. Haven't regretted that at all. If anyone ever looks shocked that I don't have a cell phone, I tell them they are perfectly welcome to buy me one because they obviously care about it more than I do. No one has taken me up on that yet.
