So I'm watching supernatural and this scene comes out of nowhere . . .
It made me really angry. Don't ask for help, use violence to solve your problem, don't be a bitch (whole ton of rape-culture misogyny wrapped up in that). What a load of bullshit. Sorry,just needed to share. One of those things I just can't stop obsessing over. Very upsetting how its just seen as normal for the hero of the show to be saying those things. Not to mention ... what happens when the violence doesn't work and the kid gets beat up? The implication would be he deserves what he gets for being weak. sick.
I don't usually watch that show but my wife does and she was half asleep so she didn't catch what was wrong with it but it has kept me up. grrrr.
