Shout out.

What are you letting go of today?

What could you do without?

Throw it on the pile.

I am trying to, and successfully, letting go about being sad about being sad, being angry with being angry and being frustrated with my apparent lack of success compared to some imagined me. I am not really giving up something, but really I am just accepting my natural, not perfect, state as what it is. It is the current existence of me.

For me, I am cutting loose people who don't appreciate my friendship.

Letting go of one more event faced this week in T. My T says every story has a beginning, a middle and an end. This is in the past, ended. Now that I see it for what it was, it goes into the pile of one more thing I went through, but no longer impacts where I go from here. Face it to stomp it on the pig pile!

This annoying habit of not being able to say "no".

Having rejection by a friend mean that I'm worthless is something I've gotten over. All through high school and college rejection by my male counter parts was proof that I really was worthless. Just lost a close friendship (sort of) and I was able to love my self enough to really get past it.

So rejection from others is NOT a reflection of who I am - throwing it on the pile. I like me and I've found others here that do too.

back in the old home town - i am rejecting the fear of being recognized as a victim by those who were the perps and those who knew of my shame.

and - by the way - i reject the shame as well.

i have a new identity - as a shame-free survivor and thriver.
