Rock Lobster was one of my favorite songs from 1980. I have a lot of good memories of parties where that got played a lot.

I echo Ken...The B-52s and R.E.M. are local North GA products.

I'm partial to "Private Idaho."

The Go-Gos remind me of riding the elementary school bus home in 4th grade. Our bus driver was cool enough to tune the radio to good stations. I even heard U2 on the bus.

Yeah Dave i remember our high school dance that was the title song with dance moves and everthing.

Gogos was one of the only lps i ever bought. Listened to it non stop for a week. My brother was so pissed....yur ruining it!!!!

The Go-Go's were big during my college years. Beauty and the Beat and its hits We Got the Beat and Our Lips are Sealed were go-to songs in a bunch of parties. My favorite song of theirs is Head over Heals and it's on my ipod playlist and it's great to listen to on long runs.
