I'm feeling good about how I've handled this. I was able to manage this! I was able to understand the emotions everyone was having, and respond in an intelligent and meaningful way, without having any anxiety about it.
This is a rather important experience for me to have; as I grew up feeling like I was autistic or retarded. That feeling was mired in the CSA symptoms of worthlessness as well.
This experience feels like a gift.
