hey guys I found this poem I wrote quite a long time back so hopeful though tentative perhaps the breeze will blow again?
As gentle winds beset my frame almost unnoticed yet true,
And this warm breeze though comforting seems somehow to askew.
The chill of isolation which seems my Security
Within this prison blows the breeze, Refreshing yet untried.
It penetrates and permeates the walls in which I hide.
And strengthens me to shed the chains with which myself I bind.
And so with flesh yet trembling and soul yet cast in doubt,
Find strength in hope tear down a wall this breeze it calls me out!
I’ll stay yet near my prison as I might require its might.
This breeze, this warmth, this sovereignty! could this in truth be mine?
Borne on this Breeze yet haltingly an open path I find.
That leads away as freedom draws; this Prison… is my mind.

Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee. let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, thou damned whale! Thus, I give up the spear!"
