one week from today i see my T again. he has been away for 5 weeks now. it has not been easy. today was especially bad. a couple of triggers that totally surprised me. one was totally new. i thought i was over that. it had been a while since this kind of panic reaction and i guess i got into a false sense of complacency.

BUT - i can make it for another week. i have really relied upon you all to help me make it through. if i didn't have this place to come to, i don't know what i'd have done. ironically - i feel safe here. paradoxically - i get comfort from hashing out our issues together. just being able to be in the "company" of other guys who get it makes me feel better. even when not discussion my posts, it has strengthened and encouraged me - just knowing that i am not alone - and am accepted - as i am.

thank you all - for being there.

Hang on Lee,
man you did great whit so many challenges and difficult situations without your T!
I know how lost I was when felt low and my T was absent for couple of weeks.
It is great to have place like MS to find some support and to hear encouraging words. You are right, sometimes is not much needed to feel better smile

I've found your writing about struggles, problems and all other aspects form survivor's life very insightful and inspiring, thanks for sharing with us!

Hang on

(((Lee)))

Likewise here, Lee. There are a few of us currently without Ts who are posting furiously. Hahaha...you know how much I'VE been posting lately and that's a significant reason.

Ummm...not only that, we seem to be doing - relatively - well.

yup, Lancer -

after a while hanging around here and reading the "required" texts, i think "we" survivors know almost as much as "they" - the Ts - do about the whole thing.

we really can support one another. and we do one heck of a job of it - IMHO!!!
