On February 10, 2013, the Doylestown Male Survivors Peer Support Group will celebrate its 1 year anniversary! We meet every Sunday night at the Doylestown Hospital from 7:00 - 9:00. Our group exists to make connections, support one another, and begin to talk about what happened, how it affected our lives, and how to develop healthy coping mechanisms as we heal and move forward with our lives. The meetings are powerful and energizing, and have empowered several men to take bold steps in their journey of recovery. If you're in the area, consider joining our group! We currently have 8 core members, and we would welcome anyone who would like to share in the magic. If you've never attended a peer support group or WoR, you'll soon realize there is nothing quite as affirming as simply being in the presence of other male survivors. We are a dedicated, action-oriented group of men who do not wish to simply dwell on our past, but to find tools to move forward with our lives. Healing is possible! You are not alone! Contact Paul Travisano at 267-221-6611 for a brief intake interview, or visit www.doylestownmalesurvivors.com
for more information. We are also listed in the Resource Directory, under Find A Support Group, here on malesurvivor.org. Come on out - we'd love to have you join us!
