I've read about cases like that. It's still a form of manipulation. By saying that he'll die - which he knows you don't want - he gives you no choice. He has the power to stop what's happening, but he doesn't. And you can't stop it. That's abuse.
Abusers can be very loving. Sometimes, this is how they groom you to prevent you from disclosing your abuse. You don't want to tell on someone who loves you, therefore you don't. Perhaps he did love you...but having sex with a minor is a crime. He should know that.

They don't have the market cornered on this. My bitchmother was also adept at it, even sucking in her third husband to join the fray by making me responsible for her hysterics, drinking, etc. Eventually, too, in my experience, karma steps in and they STILL don't get it. More broadly, even some of the RCC's worst have sunk to the level of blaming kids for "seducing" them. Total bullshit.

"Look at what you made me do" or similar is a cop out when someone can't/won't take responsibility for his/her actions.
