In case you missed it, yesterday, Judge Cleland rejected Jerry Sandusky's bid for a new trial. The judge issued a 27 page opinion. This clears the way for the case to go to the Court of Appeals for appellate review.

This means that the trial judge decided against Sandusky on his motion for a new trial. It means that the case will now proceed to the intermediate level court of appeals. In essence, it limits Sandusky's legal options. He must now convince the Court of Appeals that Judge Cleland committed "reversible error" in the trial proceedings. That will be difficult for Sandusky to do...

What is the status on Spanier's motion to amend his bail conditions?
