I've always been floored by the magnatude of pain, pain and pain around here. This is no easy place for the men, but the F&Fs suffer and suffer and suffer more. I've never posted this video before as I always fall apart when I hear the song. Only perspectives make me cry now. Maybe you can see it too:

I was just thinking of starting a thread about artistic expression in F&F. Thank you for this post. It inspires me about the power of the arts.

This reminds me of H.

Placebo reminds me of The Cure. Amazing video. The guy laying in the road reminds me of a kid I once knew. I remember him getting off the bus one day and his Dad was passed out in the yard. He toiled around at the mail box until the bus was out of sight. I always wondered what he did after the bus left but I wasn't close enough to him to ask or lend any support. I could feel his shame watching him at that mail box.

He Won't Go by Adele
http://youtu.be/_x27ipI9WOM

Some say I'll be better without you,
But they don't know you like I do,
Or at least the sides I thought I knew,
I can't bear this time,
It drags on as I lose my mind,
Reminded by things I find,
Like notes and clothes you've left behind,
Wake me up, wake me up when all is done,
I won't rise until this battle's won,
My dignity's become undone,

But I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk,
I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk,

So petrified, I'm so scared to step into this ride,
What if I lose my heart and fail, declined,
I won't forgive me if I give up trying,
I heard his voice today,
I didn't know a single word he said,
Not one resemblance to the man I met,
Just a vacant broken boy instead,

But I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk,
I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I am willing to take the risk,

There will be times, we'll try and give it up,
Bursting at the seams, no doubt,
We'll almost fall apart, then burn to pieces,
So watch them turn to dust,
But nothing will ever taint us,

I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk,
I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I am willing to take the risk,

Will he, will he still remember me?
Will he still love me even when he's free?
Or will he go back to the place where he will choose the poison over me?
When we spoke yesterday,
He said to hold my breath and sit and wait,
I'll be home so soon, I won't be late,

He won't go,
He can't do it on his own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
He's willing to take the risk,
So I won't go,
He can't do it on his own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk,

'Cause he won't go,
He can't do it on his own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
We're willing to take the risk,
I won't go,
I can't do it on my own,
If this ain't love, then what is?
I'm willing to take the risk.

Round Here is one of my favorite songs. Ever since the album was first released, I immediately connected with the desperate feeling that song so well captures. Started listening to it again this fall when that feeling returned again hard (as it has many times before).

Another hard kicker is Digging In The Dirt - Peter Gabriel

Its fully about CSA memories and the effects. I sought license for a video (as the house video is way off-topic), but never got it.

Except Verse:

The more I look, the more I find
As I close on in, I get so blind
I feel it in my head, I feel it in my toes
I feel it in my sex, that's the place it goes
