No one asks when I go away
No one looks where I am
No one thought to miss me
Or wonder if I got banned.

No one noticed I don't post anymore
No one even checks
No one cares about my story
Or my prayer requests

I'm just a memory on a screen
black against light green
A cache to be purged
A hundred pointless words

Estatic when he stands defiant,
wild with abandon when he's gone

just stay alive.
do whatever you need to.
you are worth it.

Hey Jacob, nice poem!
I'm sorry if no one noticed your isolation frown
You are more than memory on a screen
or hundred pointless words...

I added you to my buddies I hope you are OK with that wink ?

Hi Jacob, I haven't met you yet and I'm sorry you feel isolated here. No more, you can send me msgs and I'll look at your posts and prayer requests. I know my own faith is helping me a lot now, and leading me to try to help others. I signed up here last July and there are a lot of good people here, and resources too.

I am in chat a lot, as Im looking for a new job and trying to get back to school. So you can look for me there too. There are also a lot of awesome people in chat here, and it's a safe place too.

You are not just a memory, or pointless words or anything perps may have said. You are with friends, brothers and people who care. So I'm saying hi, and am willing to reach out any way I can. Together we can move forward and find healing and freedom from the past. I totally believe that. Welcome brother!

Thanks for the support guys. The poem is actually about another website. It was the last (as in most recent) place to say they cared and the poem is about that site, not this one. The jury is still out here and I'm always afraid it will be another in a long line of disappointments, but I haven't felt that yet. And your guys words make me optimistic and really do mean a lot.
