I guess that most post here first. I didnt for whatever reason but now I feel obligated as someone was not so nice in their comments to(wards) myself.. If u r reading U know who U r.

My jail / prison history is one of violence and violent crime.

FINE, I was acting out as a perpetrator... BUT NOT OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE as someone assumed.

Just for the record.

PS U can look me up first... next time.

Hey A...

I don't know what was said to you, but welcome to MS anyway. Most of us are pretty accepting of others pasts because we've all been thru one kind of sewer or another. Give it a chance.

A - welcome - officially!

try not to take it too personally. sounds like someone jumped to conclusions without knowing the whole story.

but i'm sure you can also understand that if someone thought you were a pedophile, pervert, child abuser-type perpetrator - that would cause lots of triggers and likely lead to over-reactions.

glad you are able to put it in perspective and hang in there with us.

Welcome to MaleSurvivor!
I'm glad that you are here with us.
I've found nice and supportive community here although sometimes it can be very dynamic and overwhelming. Many of us are having some issues and sometimes we can easily be triggered and acting nasty (as it seems you already felt some sting on your skin here - I'm sorry for that frown )
Keep sharing with us!

I heard this is a safe place where folks arent alienated and can recieve support.
Alienation is lots of my problem, and here it was fed upon. It took less than 10 days on here for someone to vent on me and accuse and assume.
It is tough enough being the only disenfranchised excon survivor of Sexassault I know (alienated).

Just sayin'

Yes this is safe place!
However sometimes a lot of strength is needed to keep it like that.
Please be aware in case that someone would "attack" you try to be calm and to avoid fighting and rather notify that person to moderators.
As I've said it can be very dynamic here, there are new members coming all time long and as many of us have some issues some time is needed for all of us to adjust to behave in calmer and supportive manner. It is a process.
Please feel like at home here wink !
