I look up
     I look down
all I see is the shroud
   of liquid night
 impenetrable
    suffocating

  the pills donít help anymore
    the talks donít help anymore

I have to move
  get away from this spot
this place of torment and shadow

I hear the laughter of life
  just beyond my reach
    and my tears descend
      in soundless echoes

oh Sorry MarkK, I guess I've seen something that wasn't there. I've had some difficult issues lately and somehow I've seen what I needed in your poem and that is some light and healing under reach at the beginning of the year. Something that I need a lot.
Now when I've read it again it was like I've read some other poem, I didn't mean to be rude and to ignore your some hurtful and difficult feelings.

no porblem - you commented on what you saw.
you can't hardly comment on what you don't see.
that'd be like explaining the guy in the dark shroud holding the scythe standing right behind me to someone who doesn't think he's real - or just doesn't see him.

Are you talking about guy who is lurking from your poem, lol?
Just kidding.

I'm happy that we exchanged couple of lines even about not understanding/seeing each other, something that could be very painful, I'm sorry one more time.

at least you noticed.
which is worse? person A that walks past a bleeding man and steps over him, ignoring him - basically not seeing him - or person B who sees him but has no capability of helping him so he to walks on by?

or is there a difference.

I guess neither choice is good in that case frown
Being noticed better sounds but if that doesn't bring at least couple supportive words or couple of glances (if not offering hand) than there is no difference for me...
