I read the transcripts of Amendola's cross-ex of the victim-witnesses, to see how he had attempted to discredit them. His efforts sounded so perfunctory and standardized (did you talk to a lawyer, are you looking for money, didn't Jerry give you stuff, ever been in trouble, etc.) that it's clear the courtroom atmosphere was totally on the victims' side.

Amendola and his partner only managed to keep the victims on the stand, repeating details of what Jerry did to them. Bad for the victims, but even worse for Jerry!
