Suwanee Registered: 10/30/12 Posts: 313 Loc: SE USA	Cool! My grandfather served in the Pacific...and so did just about every other family member who served in WWII. We have his letters, pictures, "V-Grams" and a few other keepsakes...but nothing like that! I do have his medals and Bronze Star for bravery during a firefight on a Philippine island---which is somewhat ironic (or apt) since he was a combat engineer rebuilding runways---he was "armed" with a surveyor's transit, an entrenching tool, and a .45 caliber ACP pistol. _________________________ You take a walk and you try to understand Nothing can hurt you Unless you want it to...
