Labels are for articles that we care to wear
not for individuals to bare
Through our lives it’s truly a shame
truth be known, we’re not to blame
Our shells protect us from the taunts
the deeds survived, remain to haunt
Over the years it’s like a storm
we feel we are mostly outside the norm
We come here now, to mend our shells
some memories of which are living hell
Within this place in cyber space
we come to find a healing grace
Together now we can bare labels true
we’re SURVIVORS, we’ll carry through
We have each other to make our way
through our journey day by day
As we gather our shells will mend
in hopes that we can begin again!
