I'm not in the UK, but have read an article comparing his social significance to Dick Clark. Considering his work with the little ones, however, it occurred to me a more apt comparison might be Fred Rogers.

Given the particularly high esteem in which I hold Fred Rogers (http://www.malesurvivor.org/board/ubbthr...5771#Post405771), I can understand the disillusionment and outrage those in the UK might have over Savile.

From today's NY Times: Police are planning "arrest strategy" for others linked to the Jimmy Savile abuse inquiry.

Think about that. How many suspects do they have if they need a strategy to arrest them all?
