Interesting reading, even for someone who is not from the U.S.:

In my country we are far from having openly gay politicians elected to public office.

For all gay americans and therefore all americans. Rationality will slowly prevail in this age of reason. When rationality trumps fear and ignorance( sorry bout the ironic pun - couldnt help it) then we all win everytime. You will see a change b4 obama is out of office i believe.

I have to say I was downright shocked when I found out that maryland and the other states passed gay marriage. I completely expected them to vote it down.
