Looking for a good therapist for my husband in the Philadelphia Suburbs who takes insurance who has CSA therapy experience. If anyone has any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you Ken. Although I'm sure he is excellent, when I told my husband his name, he told me he preferred a female doctor. Any other recommendations? He wants female for reasons related to his ptsd.

Hi RachelMac,

Psychology Today has listings of therapists for all states and counties. You can choose the type of therapist you are seeking as well as the area(s) to which you are willng to travel.

You will only know by contacting a particular therapist whether or not they accept your insurance.

Also check your county rape crisis center. They offer services to males and females, at no cost to county residents. Some offer support groups in addition to individual therapy.

You can also try www.RAINN.org and plug in your zip code. Though it's mostly for females, they do have a number of people who are experienced with male survivors.
