Still hate the Gabopentin, but it's gonna be a fact of life for a while. Pain meds are only a few times a week now. Feel I've made real progress.

The next phase is the HIV meds study. Blood draw finally on Friday - if the world hasn't ended - which will determine my eligibility, specifically my particular HIV genome. Up to 30 days for that determination, perhaps sooner. The other "if" is whether I'll even be receiving the medication or a placebo. And I won't know unless I start feeling unusually better which, they've previously discovered, happens relatively quickly.

I did learn today the study is a couple years which can be extended another couple years depending on results and FDA approval processes.

Man, would that make my year or what?

Wow this thread is coming slowly to end (hopefully with Lancer's full healing).
I must add that this thread was so uplifting, in my view it is one of the best things written here lately

For upcoming Christmas and as Lancer already said that he likes Eartha Kitt, here is one great song with nice Christmas wishes, lol, lets all wish something good and positive to happen to us in next period
