Obviously, the BS you'd expect. I've linked to the NBC News site because some of the comments about his possible current state of mind are enlightening. Sandusky Alleges Broad Conspiracy Mods: I did not tag the content as triggering, but your call. I would caution, however, that listening to it or even the Costas interview - I couldn't - may indeed be triggering.

What a shitbag. There's some people in this world that I feel absolutely no pity for, and he's one of them.

Interesting quote from the CNN/AC360 report: ***Sandusky audio clip may be triggering*** "One thing that's critical for victims' healing is an acknowledgment of guilt. (Sandusky) is stunting that healing," attorney Ben Andreozzi. "He is either delusional, or the victim of one of the most comprehensive conspiracies of mankind."

It is so true what the lawyers for the victims said--they need contrition from the abuser. But it seems few are willing to give this apology or acknowledgement. Sad for the victims who so valiantly came forward. I was sadden th the sentence was only 30-60 years--it should have been the maximum of 300 plus years. Either way he will die in prison. but the message is stunted when the sentence does not reflect the severity and destructive actions of Sandusky to his victims.

What's astounding to me is the level of denial STILL at work here. And it's scary to know this is exactly how PSU and Sandusky operated. Now imagine you're one of his victims facing this. It's incredibly telling...and damning. Hell, the guy's been confronted by adults in an adult court of law, convicted and sent to jail. Yet, as reported, he seemed comfortable staring down the victims while they gave their impact statements. I dunno what you call that...psychotic? Sociopath? ***TRIGGER*** As sickening and delusional as it is, ABC included extended excerpts from his court statement: http://abcnews.go.com/US/jerry-sandusky-sentenced-30-60-years-prison/story?id=17427234

Hi Guys,
The unmitigated gall of Sandusky to proclaim that he is the victim of a conspiracy, etc. turns my stomach. Then again, he is being true to his perpetrator inclinations - blame the victims and everyone else for whatever problems befall him.
I am more than disappointed in the judge's sentence. 30 - 60 years. That is 9 - 15 months per guilty count. What message does that send the victims who testified? What message does that send to those who will be faced with the decision to pursue legal action against their perpetrators?
How much is a stolen life worth?
Does 9 - 15 months seem to be an appropriate sentence?
I think the judge should have handed down a sentence of hundreds of years. That would not only tell the victims who testified, but those who will be faced with the decision in the future, that their courage and suffering is worth something. That what they endured was indeed as heinous as they know it to be, and that the court not only recognizes that, but will punish accordingly.
Anomalous
