hey guys been kinda hard lately and when I hurt I write thought I would post it here
Though silent through the years these bones give their testimony of the child who died
I am a witness.
Cuts which mar the skin and reach to the depth of the soul
They bleed even today and bring bitter pain,
I am a witness.
Made to live here, on the edge of a razor from sanity’s precipice there is no indictment of the guilty… though I am a witness.
These each tell the tale which swollen lips have kept
The child on the bed in terror…I knew,
The boy of stone who never cries, Prepared to embrace his fate.
Biting in pain, striking back in a terror of rage!
I am a witness.
He is the one I saw each morning. In the mirror I see him still
I AM A WITNESS.
