The question you ask is a debatable one by different people and their beliefs. That being said, the just of this was from a Christian point of view. It hits home for me. Did I put football on Saturdays before my Savior , Jesus Christ. Was I putting my hunting club or hunting before my Savior. Was I putting my church or pastor before My Savior. I will answer your question from my POV, yes. Anything put before Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit (the trinity which is all One), is having another god or idle. As for me and my house we will serve the one an only. The creator of the heavens and the earth. God Almighty who reigns on high. Jesus Christ, the ONE who died for my sins and the Holy Spirit , he guides me on the right path and comforts me. As a man I will be held accountable for the spiritual well being of my family and my house. I take that serious an try to improve on it everyday. I have seen people put material things way up on their most important list. I have also seen these same people have those items ripped away from them. You may not have the same beliefs as me on this and I am not judging anyone but this is just the belief that I have on the topic.
