You can't change your past no matter how ugly or tormented it was.
Nor can you change any bad decision that it made you make.
You can't take back the pain it caused you or you caused others.
Sadly you were only trying to survive as best you could.
Don't run from it.
Embrace it.
Have the courage to face it for all that it was.
See your mistakes and right the wrongs.
Look at it as the seed of all you can be.
Use it to guide and shape your future in a positve way.
Let it be the back bone and core of your strength that got you this far.
But most of all open your heart and believe that your love is worthy enough to give and for someone else to hold.

I'm not there yet.
But I know with the same strength and persistance that got me through my past I will become my future!
