This movie is beefcake for bored housewives. A (female) cousin who saw Magic Mike said, "Who cares what it's about?" She just wanted to look.

So MM just follows the tried-and-true formula of showing actors prancing about with a minimum of clothing. This time it's guys instead of girls.
