Hello, my name is scottyg and i am a MaleSurvivor-aholic. Today is my one month anniversary since I joined MS.
I have learned from ASA survivors that anniversaries are very triggering. As an anti-trigger I am starting a celebration of healing by commemorating the date I joined. I encourage every Survivor to take a wellness holiday for themselves on the anniversary of the day they joined. Post about good things in your life, the healing things. Pat yourself on the back for being you. Standing ovations are nice but too often we undervalue ourselves even as others praise us. Your anniversary for joinind MS is your day to tell the world I made it, I will continue to make it and I am not alone!
Words cannot express how much inspiration and wisdom, how much acceptance and healing I derrive from this community. I am truly humbled to be in your presence. I have learned from all of you, so thanks to all the contributers who've taken the time to share. This space is the gift that a lonely, lonely soul has been needing his whole life.
-Scott (now where's my cake?)

Pero PS here is cake for you as reminder that we don't like loneliness, this is past so lets eat it as fast as possible

Hi Scott,
Happy one month at MS.
I hope you don't mind that I am a bit disheveled, but I have been slaving away in the kitchen (again) to bake your cake.
You did not specify which flavor(s) you like, so I hope you like this.
One layer vanilla; one layer chocolate; strawberry in teh center and whipped cream icing. (a full sheet cakes)
The icing MUST be kept cold, so please keep the cake in the refrigerator.
Oh, and before anyone gets the idea that I am the resident baker around here -- Don't!!!
Enjoy.
Happy one month.
Anomalous
