I enjoyed Evicting the Perpetrator by Ken Singer. I found it a most useful tool in recovery.

I'm obviously biased because this is my book, but this one chronicles my journey through my first year of intense therapy. I journaled almost daily to capture what I was feeling and what therapy was like (goods and bads). It's much different than some of the other books - more personal and less clinical - but it is very hopeful because I made some real progress. If you don't want to buy it, 1in6.org has a lending library where you can borrow the book at no cost.

Ohio,

"Betrayed as Boys" and "Beyond Betrayal" by Richard B. Gartner are also good books for male adult survivors of sexual abuse.

I don't think there are any better than that, from my point of view. some may speak to certain individuals more strongly, but many consider this to be the standard.

read as much as you can. you never know what is gonna click for you.
