Hi all on what is now my favourite forum.

I realized the other day that it has been a year since I first came to male survivors. I joined on the 7th May 2011, the day of my physical and mental rebirth as a normal functioning man.

A lot has changed in the year. There has been a lot of pain, a lot of praying and whining, and there has been a lot of mental and physical anguish.

What's most important is that there has been a lot of growth. A lot of learning that my life was not what it should be and that I had hurt those I love incredibly, although through no fault of my own.

Its now time to give back that which I have taken, although impossible, but I can give it a good try.

I would like to thank you all on this forum for advising, listening and for sometimes giving the hard truths. Often the best way to say something is to tell it like it is. Many of you have done that here for me, again thank you.

I look forward to helping others here, and getting help as it is by no means over.
If we were allowed to contact each other I have no doubt that we would be great friends.

Well done Martin, you sound and look so much more settled and present, that is good to see.

Yes, giving back as you can in support, replying, healing circles.., all of this is the "next" part of MS. I encourage you to invest in MS, being mindful of your recovery, and look forward to your continued posting here. Well done on your hard work, successes and the long way you have come. I am not very active on this site but your drive, enthusiasm and passion for healing is contagious. Good luck with all your future endeavors.
Life is not a climb up a mountain and then a slide down the other side. For me the top of the mountain is the end. That is where you should die.
