Does anyone know how to oil a turntable? Can I just put it straight on or does anything have to be removed? If it matters it's one of those Crosley replicas of one from the 30s or 40s.

Hi Asmodeus,

My suggestion to you would be to look it up on google. I am certain there are vintage turntable sites which have people with plenty of knowledge.

Those interested in vintage anything are always eager to share their knowledge, and their passion.

Another option might be to visit a repair shop. Once in while you can get the information you need, without having to bring the item in for a repair.
