Hi Si Victim,

Welcome to MS.

I am sorry you need to be here, but I am happy that you have found us.

I have read your blog and what you (and your children) endured is terrible. Your blog doesn't state where your children are living, but I hope they are with you.

It is disheartening and enraging that more emphasis was put on keeping together a dangerous and abusive marriage, than it was on assuring the safety and emotional and physical well being of you and your children.

It is an unfortunate reality that society does not want to accept that men are the victims of domestic violence. There aren't any "battered men's shelters" or any of the protections and services for males who experience domestic violence.

I hope you and your children are safe. Hopefully you and your children are receiving counseling. Therapy will be the best protection against your children becoming adults who are also the victims of domestic violence. It will help them learn that they are worthy of love and that no one has the right to be abusive to them, verbally or physically.

It will also help you learn that you are also worthy of the same considerations and that no one has a right to abuse you, either.

You have found a safe haven here.

You are among many who understand the horrors of abuse, regardless of the forms in which it was manifested.

Hi Si Victim,
and welcome to MS my friend. I've went trough some parts of your blog, it is awesome. Must say that I was in short relationship with very religious girl who incredible looks similar to Sandra frown even she never dared to be physically abusive to me...
Short time spent in constant arguing was hell for me, I do hope that you reclaimed your inner peace!
Please post more about your experience and share as much as possible.
As you are religious person (that is your position after all wink ) please consider sometimes bringing some light in that part of discussion board, we need some!
Be Well!
