His blushometer must be blowing gaskets right now. I dont know how he does it and keeps his head straight, because mostly I type answers to someone then think WTF do I know! I hope to meet Larry one day soon, maybe if I can find a car or something, he only lives like 130 smiles from me :p In a place full of spotty students and posh colleges full of nerds. I live in a place full of wannabes and hasbeens, dunno where I fit in, probably down the middle   ste

Hey people,
Hmmmm. Usually I have a pretty good idea what I want to say in response to a post, but this time you've floored me.
I can't tell you how moved and humbled I am. Thanks so much for your comments here, but especially thanks to everyone for making this place such an amazing community of fellowship and healing.
A lot of you weren't around in May 2005 when I showed up here as a scared and very shy survivor with devastating self-esteem problems and unable to talk because I still thought - like I did when I was a boy - that no one would believe me.
That night after the first time I came here and saw I wasn't alone, I bet I cried for an hour. So many guys (I can't begin to name them all) helped me back then, and yeah, they still pick me up from time to time. Whatever progress I have made in the past 18 months owes so much to them and I will always be grateful. I feel like all I'm really doing now is "paying it forward".
It's not down to one person of course, and I have to say that whatever I do here is encouraged and guided by the wonderful people we have behind the scenes working in admin and as mods. Believe me, it isn't easy, and you just wouldn't imagine the time that MS takes out of their own busy lives. They're the ones who deserve the credit for creating the framework for what we are all able to do here together.
