I want to share a WOW with you regarding a kid in my town.

Super-Boy is in the 7th grade. He's "known" throughout and by all. He's a top student but also a fun-loving nut-case who just turned 13. He's friends will ALL.

His circle of friends is broad and varied. He greatly hangs with the Skater-crowd and they are nearly always together.

On Sunday, one of his gang (Sht-boy) was PMing with one of the girls (Girl) in the 7th grade. She likes him, he likes her. She told him she likes him. So he said: "Yeah? you willing to send me some nude pics of you?" Now, Girl is a super sweet and truly good girl (not that it matters). She messaged back "I can't believe you just said that." Sht-boy said "What? What's the problem?"

She logged off. He panicked and began telling his friends about it and asking if he was in trouble. They all called him a scum-bag. When Super-Boy learned of it, he said and did nothing (as in did not say a word to anyone).

Super-Boy let two days go buy to see what was to happen with the incident. The entire 7th grade learned of it. All were agast at Sht-boy's behaviour and considered him scum. But Super-Boy was disgusted that no one was going to do jack about it. No one would report Sht-boy.

Super-Boy told Sht-boy that he ought to join him in the Principle's office willingly, or be called-in later. He took Sht-boy to the P's office to disclose this sexual harrasment crime. Sht-boy threatened to beat the crap out of Super-boy for turning him in. Super-Boy said "beating me up is the least of your worries" and went into the P's office for the full report.

I learned of this through the town pipeline.

I'm in awe.

That Super-boy must be having super warm home with Super-parents.
My hat is off to all of them and especially to Super-boy.

Good for the girl that stood up for herself, and didn't humor him just because she liked him!

That's the negative consequences. So, when does anyone show Sht-boy better ways to relate to girls than crudely sexualizing them? The positive example? Text a pix of roses, share a song he likes, learn to express himself to girls? I never got any help with that either. Most boys don't have fathers anymore now it seems.
