on this site? I remember I did in the past and my topics were removed. There is a thread where at least 2 people posted links of child pornography, one of them was removed, the other one stayed. But my posts of something that wasn't even harmful was removed? If I ever posted a child pornography site here, I can assure you that I would be banned...

It is allowed by technical side to put links in your posts. I don't think that your topics were removed because of some links. Couple days ago MS removed two my topics.

It is permissable to post links on the site depending on the purpose of the link. For example, news links are posted all of the time in the News forum. Each link posted has to be looked at on a case-by-case approach. If the link is to a site deemed inappropriate the link is removed, likely with an admonition sent to the person who posted it. A pattern of ill-intent by a user by repeated postings of inappropriate links can lead to suspension of a user's account.

DarkHadou, both of the links you speak of have been removed.
