The point is not "moral duty". "Moral duty" can be argued until we're blue in the face. What matters to me as a survivor is that he executed his legal duty to those children. If we want to be enraged at anyone let's be enraged at the PA state legislators that put such a ridiculous standard in the law. I am truly sorry his death was as painful as it was. He did not deserve it.
In this moment I choose to remember the legacy he built. For himself, the Nittany Lions, and Happy Valley in general.
