I am asking for support to endure a miserable cold. The community here has supported me through many emotional issues, with empathy and advice. Today, well actually since Friday, I have had a miserable cold, that started, oddly enough, in my lungs. I woke up Friday morning coughing up hot "chunks" right from my lungs. I had a low grade fever, nothing over 99F, but I am tired of coughing and now it seems that it is getting worse, as now my throat is starting to hurt.
cough, cough, sniff, sniff, wheeeeeze
How about some get well posts for a miserable ache?(no not me, the cold, of course)

DO keep well rested. For me, those things turn into pneumonia in the blink of an eye. I don't like that wheeeeeze either.

Wishing you well and praying for healing. Keep any eye on any lung noise if you don't know what pneumonia sounds like.

Thanks Robbie, I do have intermittent "boiling" noises in my lungs, and I do not know what pneumonia sounds like. A deep intake of breath creates a coughing response, and a compression of the lungs through pushing air out till the lungs are "empty" causes wheezing. I did get up to 99.9 today, and I have to work tomorrow. I also have a small white spot on my tonsils.

Thanks fellas, I have a lingering annoying working cough, but expectorant and avoiding milk products have got me relatively healthy.

I know it was your well wishes and my local support that has encouraged my recovery, thank you.

The job is overwhelming, definitely interesting. The sick is gone, thank goodness, and I got a "You are a Godsend" from the boss this week, lol, so I must be doing something right.

I am thriving at this work, and it looks like I am in it for the long haul, thanks for asking,
