Tyr,

Your concern is an understandable one. However, the only way to protect this forum in any further sense of privacy would be to relocate it behind the member firewall. While this action would secure the forum from search engines, it would also deny site users who are non-members access to the forum.

Andy

It would help. My family reads not for the purpose of support but rather to use the words to attack or try to say I am full of S**t. They are more concerned with how they look verse how I feel and what has happened--this hurts. What I write is helping me to heal, it has allowed me to share the pain and hurt that I know you understand and the supporters who want to support and understand. But when it used to hurt it can be counter productive. I do not want to loose this forum-it has helped. I feel and have lived this pain to long. A protected site would be great. We need to feel safe.

Andy - Give me a PM shout and let's talk. I think there are options to keep the search engines out, and allow relatively anonymous browsing. Kevin

Ouch dude.

"this is an intense forum and really a few people have had the courage i see to be very forward and csa victims more so to the extent they hijack a lot of the forums here."

I wonder why the forum is not as busy?

It is my understanding that some of the men using the forum felt marginalized and invalidated by certain posts, and an overall non-inclusive atmosphere of ASA. This was shown in part by posts being hijacked from time to time to CSA, and if it was my thread being hijacked, I would feel invalidated or ignored. If I am off on that, I would like to hear from those men.

Well now, it seems two different issues. One of threads being hijacked and the other safty from google.

Im sorry to read and hear that people couldnt respect a space for ASA...I know that once the topic was approached by pete, there were many people who were specifically trying to help have a safe space for those affected by ASA.

With that comes the fact not as many poeple have the experience and hence why there may be more limited involvment.

I hope the guys feel safe enough to return one day.
