Also in books section of the forum:

This is a children's book written by Jill Starishevsky, a former DA in NY who often prosecuted CSA cases. It is geared for children 3 to 8 years old. When her own daughter turned three, she looked for resources to share with her to facilitate discussion about what is appropriate and what isn't. Finding nothing, she wrote her own. I love this book. It isn't frightening, it's empowering. The person who touches the main character isn't a stranger (my new pet peeve is the vast amount of resources thrown at stranger danger when the real danger is in our own stinkin' homes but I digress). Anyway, I would like for every library, every parenting group, every PTA to share this book and it's message.

You can order it on Amazon or directly on the author's site www.mybodybelongstome.com

Allies in Healing by Laura Davis
When a Man you Love was abused by Cecil Murphey
and now I'm currently reading Outgrowing the Pain Together by Eliana Gil.

By far the most helpful book for me as the spouse was not for spouses, its a clinical manual called Sexual Abuse of Males - The SAM model of Theory and Practice.

There is also another website called Pandy. I don't find it as easy to navigate as this one, and it is for rape and abuse survivors of both genders and seems to be dominated by females but I did find some useful information there. The men on this site amaze me with their willingness to share the survivor's POV. I am so grateful for that and it is so much more helpful that this is my primary resource.
