survivorcarlos22 Junior Member Registered: 05/27/02 Posts: 4 Loc: Orlando	Hey everyone, I just joined this group yesterday and I would like to say that is it a ray of sunshine and brought also comfort as well into my life. 5 years ago I was raped by five guys one of them being a so called friend and co-worker. Ever since that time I have been having constant nightmares and on and off relationship with guys. I am a 22 y/o puerto rican and I live in Orlando and I wish I can leave the past behind me, but it seems like no matter what I do It will be there to haunt me day in and day out. But I am glad that I found this group and hope that you guys will be able to help me go through what I am going through at the moment. Thank You, SurvivorCarlos

Anonymous Unregistered	Bien Venidos Carlos! My name is rafael and my Spanish is not fluent. I am so sorry for what was done to you. I too am a survivor as are many who visit and post to this site. Keep coming back. It does help to communicate with other male survivors even in this limited way. I suggest you look into getting help to heal the wounds from your ordeal. Professional therapy, support groups, reading materials (i.e. the book "Victims no Longer"), etc. Keep a smile on your face amigo. And, may our gods strengthen and bless us all. It is so good to know others are working to restore the peace in their lives, and our stories give each other hope! we face the truth the children lost abused beyond belief and in each other eyes and arms we sometimes find relief but seeking more an answer true just once to know its real elusive hope till long sought love allows the wounds to heal...
