Aha. Well, she was probably right. She could probably see that she was pushing too hard. You were resisting by saying "I dunno". As any father knows, my friend, that famous phrase is teen code for "I don't want to go there".  That's perfectly okay, though, and I'm glad you made it known where your limits were that day.
