Just sitting in the airport in toronto on the way back to my city after having spent and amazing weekend in Barries at the WoR. Please if you are reading this just find a way to go one, it will change your life, and more importantly, the heart of the frozen little boy inside you.

If you cannot aford it, apply for a sclolarship, or if you have the means, like Jean Luc Piccard said "MAKE IT SO"

It is hard to describe the impact it has had on me, and the changes I have seen on the faces of so many men is something I couldnt have imagined was possible.

What did i gain? :
- a sense of comradship with other men without any subtext
- compassion and acceptance
- tools for recovery
- the knowledge that others have faced such similar pain and yet have thrived
- knowing that we are NOT DAMAGED
- appreciating that change is really possible and not as far away as all of us may think no matter how dire our current circumstances.

There is no question that there are other paths of recovery that will help us all. T, books, group, this site, addiction programs, etc. But if there is any way you can attend a future WoR, show yourself the kindness and gather the courage to go. Miraculous sounds like such hyperboly, but i can truly think of no other word for it.

Congratulations on becoming an alumni fraternal brother.

Great courage in just going there.

If there is any possible way for one to attend one of those WoR's I highly recommend it.

They aren't cheap (monetarily) by any means. You might try for financial help here in the home page site.

These emotionally exhausting weekends, will change your life, forever. Trust me.

I'm thinking about attending my 5Th WoR, at Hope Springs.

I have a goal to try and accomplish. To bring that inner child further out from the depths of darkness, into the sunshine.
I believe that there is where my best hope lies to do just that.
