I have been doing a lot of reading on the brain science of change. I have discovered that the brain is plastic and mold-able. We have the ability to reshape our brain in physical ways by using our minds. Meditation, visualizations, and affirmations can help to rewire our brains. I mean literally forge new connections in our physical brain.
I am excited about this, because it means were not bound to destructive thought patterns for all of eternity. My focus here is positive affirmations. I want to record some and listen to them before bed and upon waking in the morning.
I was wondering if you guys wanted to share some affirmations as they relate to your own recovery. What types of statements give you strength and hope to forge onward? What type of things have you learned about yourself? I am the warrior, I am resourceful, I am creative. These are all things I have learned about myself. Please feel free to share.
