The madness is all on his side, my friend. Your poem, like the first one, does a great job of pointing out where the blame lies.
And you are the one who is doing all the talking now. That's great. You have broken the silence, which is what abusers most want when they think back to what they have done.
I remember how terrible it was wondering when the next time would be. Let the abusers wonder when the knock will come on their door. Maybe that's the greatest punishment of all.
