Clearly the boys need to be removed from the home and dealt with to determine why they did what they did.

It all depends. A lot of times when a boy is abused he will pass it on to another boy one time or a couple of times. Those boys need counseling and not punishment.

But when the behavior becomes habitual or compulsive then the boy needs to be removed from where he will pass it on to other boys.

So we need to be careful of making a "one size fits all" categorization of those boys.

I wrote somthing to this thread and deleted it..this is not an easy topic...I happen to prefer to focus on Survivors not perpetrators.
