Well...for those of us that have PTSD...

IDK...I just have problems remembering to put goop on... uhh...possible problem areas...after getting out of the shower...

but an easy solution for prevention of jock itch or athletes foot...(it is really the same thing in a different place)..is to use anti dandruff shampoo in these areas...

I've had "issues" with heat rash of the groin area every summer since I served in the gulf durring the war - I've never heard of using anti-dandruff - would'nt it leave behind a nasty residue?

I believe the active ingredient is some form of zinc that fungus doesn't like...

To be honest...I learned of this about three months ago...(I wanted to try it before I said anything).

Seems to be working quite well...with no noticeable bad residue...(uh...that being said...I don't want to look at nothing clean or dirty on a molecular level as far as residue or anything else is concerned).

I would guess that...caution being advised...is not totally out of the question...

Still beats me not having jock itch or athletes foot in my book...(or forgetting the other goop type stuff).

is very co-incidental that you post this today - the very day that I go to the doc to have my "rash" checked out because it is progressively getting worse...

will post more on this "rash" in a seperate post though as i don't want to stray this thread off course...
