Its amazing that until they hear a public outrage the police don't give a damn about boys being abused. I read a text I have from my schooling in the late 80s. The sexual abuse section prattles on about how sexual abuse is when a male abuses a little girl. Nothing said that sex with a boy is abuse or that the perp could be a woman. It is amazing.

In my own case, a sheriff finds a mother in a bus station with two scared little boys, fleeing our uncle's farm. His action: go hide in the McDonalds until the bus comes. No questions about whether he hurt us. Truth: Our butts were literally bleeding as we spoke. Pardon me for saying this, but I HATE LAZY AND STUPID POLICE.

I hear you about the police. I used to think they were all gung-ho to get the bad guy. There are some very caring cops out there, but I've also met some very lazy ones as well.

I am sorry that the police didn't do their jobs of helping deliver justice and protect such a little, innocent pair of boys.

They fail quite often, too often.
In my case right now I just found out that I was lied to by the police. When they take a report of a crime they are supposed to investigate it then go to the prosecutor, yet when I reported they told me they had to go to the prosecutor first and he "ordered" them not to investigate!

Cops are generally good but there is that element of dummies and jocks who managed not to get arrested as young men that find out cop is all they have as a career option because not having been arrested is the best thing on their resume. It is generally these guys who fuck up. otherwise I have found it is a calling or a passion for criminal justice that sends the good ones into police work.

I'm so sorry for what you had to go through. That was without excuse. I'm sorry you weren't protected.

I have had the same emotions about why I wasn't protected by "the law". Or why they didn't seem interested in investigating.

Around where I live now, there seem to be about 2 new news stories about child abuse every day! Yet the reports say that crime is down. Maybe that means that crime has stooped down to take advantage of children. The news reports the ones that come across the "police blotter". The others seem to get swept under the rug.

His license has been more than suspended - it's been permanently revoked!

I just called the Board of Maryland Physicians. As soon as I said, "Miguel Frontera had his license revoked but is still advertising himself as a doctor," the person said, "We are aware of this situation and are investigating." She asked to fax over any other new information I had on Frontera.
