I saw Tony Bennett in concert last night, and he took a moment to point out that Mickey Rooney was in the audience with his wife, and he dedicated this song to him... it's a beautiful song, and as I listened it brought tears to my eyes.
You may have also heard this from the Michael Jackson's memorial, he had recorded a version of it, and Jermaine Jackson sang it there.
