I haven't been participating much on MS in the last week or so. I've been relearning how to engage with my life, and its a challenge which is VERY rewarding.

I'm working on reconnecting to my talents, my desires, wishes, filmmaking, artistry. It has always been with me since I was a child, but I've neglected it in recent years.

I've been very very very blessed to be working at a position which puts me in contact with filmmaking gear, as I purchase stuff for our facilities. Just picked up a new camera which I'm absolutely in love with, and have been shooting and editing film - and I'm happy.

I should dive back into the fray of recovery and not forget that I have work to do. But I wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here, still reading, just not posting as much. I'm rewarding myself for having SURVIVED, by learning how to play again (with my inner child).

I'm happy (for now). smile

Dillon,

I'll admit it. I've wondered where you've been. Haven't seen you around and was hoping to get a report like this. Thanks for the update and congrats on the growth. I'm proud of you for the progress you've made. Keep it up. And, as Jim said, no need to apologize.

Be well,

B

D,

I posted a lot more here in the past, but still stop by and read. Part of recovery is just that, learning to live life again. Learning to get back in touch with who we really are, and what our true interests are. Sounds like to me you are making progress and that is great!

Eric

Thanks guys. smile

I felt a little silly after posting my post about apologizing. of course I have every right to try and live my life.

I am particularly sensitive about abandoning and abandonment, and was feeling sensitive that I haven't been posting, felt bad about it. But now I don't anymore.

Thanks for the support guys. smile

"I am particularly sensitive about abandoning and abandonment"

It is a coin that has a barbs on both sides.
