How many times it will not work, to trust someone and it is betrayed, before it is gone total?

Hi!

This is a tough question! I myself have experienced many times trusting someone only to have them betray that trust or deride me as being an idiot for needing to talk to them in the first place. I don't know if this will help, but I have made up a rule for myself. If someone betrays my trust, I know right then that they are not worth spending time with. (If they are betraying my trust, they betray the trust of others.) There is no place in life for people like that.

You deserve to be honored. It can take some time, but there are people out here who are genuinely interested in others, and not just themselves. I know how hard it is to keep trying. I admire that you can speak it out here! That already means to me that you will not put up with that kind of garbage! Express that anger here! I know from my own experience what you mean.

It's tough to keep trying, i know that feeling every day. Remember that there is nothing wrong with you for trusting soemone. They are complete losers if they betray a friends' trust. The problem is not with you.

PS my friend.

In school we were taught to always approach everything like it was the first time - every time - That way we approach thins from a point of view of innocence.

Then the actions of the others are what they are, and they define their character.

Remember that their reactions are not coming from you. (if they were - they would be coming from the truth of the trust you put out to them, and they couldn't honestly betray that and be real with you. Their actions are dishonest and cruel. That has nothing to do with you!

Peace and blessings from Asher

Leosha, every time you trust, every time you take that leap of faith .... it is a risk. But it is a risk you take for yourself, and you are worth it. When you are betrayed, as we all are from time to time, it is the other person's loss. I am grateful that there are people out there like yourself who are genuine and prepared to risk themselves and take a chance on being my friend.
Peace, Andrew
